Privacy Policy

SalarySaathi provides free salary and tax calculators. This policy explains what happens to the information you enter and what data, if any, is collected when you visit.

Calculator inputs

Every calculation — HRA exemption, in-hand salary, PF, and the tax regime comparison — runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Salary figures, rent amounts, deductions, and every other number you enter are never transmitted to a server, logged, or stored anywhere. Closing or refreshing the page clears them completely. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no way for us to see what you typed.

Cookies and analytics

SalarySaathi does not currently run advertising or analytics scripts, and does not set cookies. If that changes — for example, by adding Google AdSense or a privacy-respecting analytics tool — this section will be updated first to disclose exactly what's added, what data it collects (which may include IP address, device/browser information, and cookie-based identifiers), and a link to that provider's own privacy policy.

Hosting and server logs

This site is served as static files by our hosting provider, which may log standard technical request data (such as IP address and request timestamp) for security and reliability purposes, in line with its own privacy policy. SalarySaathi itself has no backend and no database.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site changes, particularly if ads or analytics are introduced. The date at the top reflects the most recent update.
